The Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame is happy to announce that, effective January 1, 2010, we will also be operating the Louisiana Songwriters' Association.

The LSA is an important, functioning 26 year 501(c)(3) nonprofit Louisiana Corporation. The addition of this "sister" nonprofit to the La Musique de Louisianne Inc./Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame structure will allow us to more easily implement many of our already progressing programs and open new projects.

The LSA will be working in harmony with the LMHOF to continue to move the music and artists of Louisiana forward as we work together to rebuild and restore the music industry of Louisiana.

  *  We have now opened our drive to register and enroll all songwriters in the State in a very special offering in  conjunction with the Year of the Song commemoration.

  *  We have concurrently, through the LMHOF foundation's Louisiana Musicians Association, opened our registration/membership drive for all State musicians ina a similar campaign.

  *  We have additionally offered an extra special dual registration & membership for both songwriters and musicians in this 2010 year-long special registration campaign.

  *  All registration/memberships in either, or both, organization under the YOTS 2010 calendar year special will be a one-time fee and will be considered "lifetime", in that no annual dues will be charged.

   *  REGISTRATION /MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION, INCLUDING BENEFITS, AND INCLUDING YOTS 2010 CALENDAR YEAR DISCOUNT & SPECIAL AND DUAL REGISTRATION/MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNT CAN BE VIEWED AT  "JOIN LSA" AND "JOIN LMA" , OR  AT "JOIN THE LSA" AND "JOIN THE LMA IN THE LEFT MENU BAR LOWER SECTION.

This alignment of nonprofit corporations foundations will also assist LMHOF in focusing on our projects for the commemoration and celebration in accord with Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal's Proclamation of the Year of the Song for 2010. This unprecedented year of music and song celebration for Louisiana offers an incredible chance to "make a difference" for the artists and music of our State.

**SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: We have opened the 1st phase of the Louisiana Songwriters Association Hall of Fame in association with The Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame. Currently you will find concurrent members of the two foundations shared from the LMHOF's already existing "Songwriters' Annex" division of The Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame. More inductees will be annnounced at the end of January (2010), some concurrent and some individual HOF members. Stay Tuned!
