La Musique de Louisianne Inc., parent corporation of The Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame announces the formation of Krewe Musique.

Krewe Musique is the fundraiser membership program of La Musique de Louisianne Inc.,  and has been opened to assist us in funding

our projects, fulfilling our missions and the honoring of our great Louisiana Artists.

If you are familiar with our project, you may scroll down and go directly to the Krewe Memberships section, or

you may wish to first read more about our mission, accomplishments and our project, in general.

In our first full year of operations, The Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame welcomed over 20 amazing Artist Inductees. Currently 20 are

showcased and honored on this site, with 2 additional being added in coming weeks, Mahalia Jackson and Governor Jimmie Davis.

LMHOF also held two incredible events, the April 7, 2007 "Legends of Louisiana" in Mandeville, Louisiana, and the October 27,2007

"Louisiana's Greatest Hits - LIVE!"  in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. These two events brought to the stage dozens of Louisiana performers

and Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame Inductees, which produced moments like:

    - Phil Phillips performing his "Sea Of Love" for, perhaps the final time...

    - Robert Parker performing "Barefooting"...

    - Dick Holler performing his "Abraham, Martin & John"...

    - Dick Holler, Lenny Capello & Merlin Jones, with Cosimo Matassa on site performing the 1964 original version of "Double Shot"...

    - Clarence "Frogman" Henry in one his last events before retirement...

    - Willie Tee performing "Teasing You" and more in one of the final performances of his life...

    - The late John Fred performing "Judy In Disguise" via film & Live band featuring several members of hus band,  "The Playboys"...

and many, many more amazing moments....

The Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame was also asked to produce the music portions of the Inaugural activities of Gov. Bobby Jindal.

The site that you are on, was also brought to the level of Virtual Museum as our Galleries took shape and currently offer over

1,000 watermarked static images and over 1,000 videos via protected Flash Galleries. You could easily spend weeks viewing

the incredible careers of our showcased artist Inductees now, and, there's much much more to come. Currently, we are backlogged

on enhancement and digital filing of well over 1,000 additional static images and hundreds of additional videos to our existing Galleries.

Not to mention the HD video editing and 48 track digital audio editing of our two 2007 concerts mentioned above. These finished HD

Live performance music videos will be truly unique and may offer the last views at many of our fantastic classic artist Inductees in

performance. Some, like Phil Phillips are, to our knowledge, the ONLY  Live performance recordings of any type by these artists.

We have tried and continue to approach this project as a preservation project. Preserving the legacy of these Louisiana legends

during their lifetime to the best of our abilities. This is why some of our 2007 Inductees are not represented in showcase t this time.

Our energies are focused on our surviving artists, as much as possible. In order to create our individual tribute and video pods, we

need to continue, in a hurry, to gather the living memories of these living legends, along with any and all physical memorabalia remaining.

Our classic artists are now turning or have past 70, and some 80.

As time and funding allow, we are already planning our Norh Louisiana Inductees, of which there are many, our Acadiana Inductees,

and, of course our continuing list of Inductees from the New Orleans and South Louisiana area, in addition to the establishment of our

regional LMHOF Halls, Musicians' Hall and Writers' Hall Inductees.

And, we are just beginning to archive and present articles from any/all available  sources on our Inductees and Louisiana music in

general under our Media Archives section. Those should start becoming available sometime in July. The first group will be from Baton Rouge's

"Rhythm City Magazine" archives of 12 years of articles.

Because La Musique de Louisianne Inc. is an Internal Revenue Service certified 501 (c)(3) tax exempt not-for-profit entity, all

donations under Krewe  Musique are tax deductible under IRS rules.

Please look around this site, and see our work and progress. You'll find that we are being supported in presence and deed by the artists.

You'll find rare current pictures with Bobby Charles, Fats Domino and Jerry Lee Lewis for starters. This is a feat to accomplish.

Browse through some of the static and video Galleries. You'ff find some amazing pictures and videos. Look at the exclusive Live performances

by Pete Fountain, Deacon John and Bill Conti and the rough edits of exclusive performances by Jimmy Clanton, the late (2007) Willie Tee,

the late (2005) John Fred, Robert Parker, the late (2007) Dale (Houston) of Dale & Grace  and more. These images and sounds that we have gathered

and presented tell you the story of these legends of the music business; the worldwide music business, not just Louisiana's.

We hope and believe you will find our efforts and projectsworthy of your support.
